Our Little Fish

One of Sierra's birthday presents from her grandparents was swimming lessons at the local YMCA. So for one hour each day Monday-Thursday for two weeks (July 21-31) we spent time up at the pool, which happens to be in Wooster High School. Sierra really enjoyed the lessons, especially since her friend Emily from church happened to be in her class. She practiced her breathing, floating, kicking, and even got to jump off the diving board. My parents, sister and niece were all able to stop by and catch at least parts of her lessons over the two weeks. Sierra loves to show off what she has learned. The best part is that since she took the classes she is now able to go down the slide at the city pools (no floaties allowed). She was so proud of herself! We are planning on enrolling her in the next class in October.

Getting set to jump off the diving board.

One more mid-air picture (can you tell I am proud of myself for catching that)
